Formal employment in Mexico grows by 5.2% in November
MEXICO - Formal employment in Mexico during November grew by 5.2% compared to the same month last year, according to IMSS.
According to information published by the Institute, 106,578 positions were added in the month in question, 70% of which were permanent and the rest temporary.
With the November figure, the total number of IMSS affiliates rose to 22,409,268, of which 86% are permanent. With November's figure, the IMSS has reached four months of record highs.
The economic sectors with the highest annual growth rates were construction, with 8%, transportation and communications, with 6%, and commerce, with 4%.
