Agriculture Ministers from Mexico and Canada, Jose Calzada Rovirosa and Lawrence MacAulay, ratified their interest on strengthening and maintaining favorable conditions to access the market, with a goal to increase agri-food products commerce. They agree on the importance of expanding the collaboration within this industry, supporting science applied to the primary sector, equivalent health protocols and electronic certifications to guarantee such conditions. The statement establishes: “our Countries will continue working together to show the world the benefits of an open commercial relation to spur economic growth and uphold millions of jobs in North America”.
