Empaques NOVA opens a new plant in Yucatan

With a US$1 billion investment, the Mexican Packaging Company Empaques NOVA inaugurated a new plant to manufacture paper in Uman, Yucatan. This production unit that has recently started operations, is going to support approximately 250 direct jobs; it is equipped with a paper mill and other machines dedicated to manufacturing paper and cardboard boxes out of recycled materials. Empaques NOVA currently has a 6,000 tons monthly production capacity, but it is going to be of up to 10,000 tons per month in the future.
