Industrial building construction accelerates in Juarez

JUAREZ – The industrial boom that Ciudad Juarez is experiencing will also continue in 2022. The construction of at least 7 industrial buildings and two complexes for Foxconn is being prepared.

Jorge Bermudez Espinoza, president of the Mexican Chamber of the Construction Industry (CMIC), informed that the Taiwanese company is one of the companies planning to expand, at the same time that there are other maquilas dedicated to the manufacture of all-terrain vehicles that are looking to come to the city.

Although the new warehouses are in different areas, most of them are concentrated in the southeast of Juarez.

However, he added that it is precisely in this area where there are problems of lack of electric power, which is why they are working with the Federal Electricity Commission to provide infrastructure and avoid the flight of investments.

The growth of the manufacturing industry, as well as the high demand and the limited availability of space have triggered the construction of industrial buildings.
