LORESA invests US$10.5 million in expansion in Aguascalientes

LORESA announced a US$10.5 million investment to expand its operations in Aguascalientes through the construction of a new production plant—a project expected to create 110 jobs and strengthen the company’s manufacturing capacity to meet the growing demand in the domestic freight transport market.
In the announcement, Aguascalientes Governor Tere Jimenez and company executives presented the progress of the expansion project, which is aimed at strengthening the company’s leadership in the manufacturing, assembly, and marketing of heavy-duty transport vehicles and specialized cargo equipment.
The new plant will significantly increase LORESA’s production capacity to meet domestic demand for trailers, semi-trailers, flatbeds, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and specialized freight transport vehicles.
Ruben Lopez Reynoso, CEO of LORESA, explained that the project is making significant progress and that the new facilities are being built on the Tercer Anillo Poniente, at the intersection with the exit to Villa Hidalgo. He added that the plant is expected to begin operations by the end of 2026.
During the meeting, the governor emphasized that the investment supports the state’s competitive edge and the development of the local manufacturing industry.
She also acknowledged the participation of local companies that continue to expand their operations within the state and reiterated her administration’s commitment to promoting investment projects that strengthen the industry, increase competitiveness, and foster the creation of quality jobs.
With this move, LORESA aims to increase its production capacity to meet a market with growing demand for freight transport solutions, while expanding its presence in the heavy-duty vehicle and specialized equipment sector.
