Investment valued at US$1.84 billion is going to land in Mexico over the next three years, to carry out 23 new diesel and gasoline storage and distribution projects, mostly private, which already have the corresponding permits or are currently being evaluated by the Mexican Energy Regulating Commission (CRE). These new works, including those with authorized permits and projects under evaluation, might be adding up to 17.695 million extra barrels capacity, which represents a good 80% of the Logistic capacity that Petroleos Mexicanos (PEMEX) currently has in its terminals.
