Minth announces investment in Aguascalientes

AGUASCALIENTES - In the presence of the governor of Aguascalientes, Tere Jiménez, Minth executives revealed a new expansion plan in the state, which will involve an investment of US$57 million and the creation of 1,200 additional jobs to strengthen its metals division.

"Every time we announce the arrival of new investments, it fills me with emotion and pride that when considering the qualities and enormous goodness of our state," said the governor.

Manuel Ando Camacho, Public Relations and Administration Manager of Minth Mexico, highlighted that this new investment is in addition to the US$173.5 million and 1,600 jobs previously announced to expand operations in plastics and battery box units.

Ando stated that these projects include the construction of three new plants scheduled between 2024 and 2027, with the goal of tripling sales in Mexico.

"We continue to trust Aguascalientes as the best state to invest in, the safest and where business flows easily, where there is a really easy and free approach with the government, and where solutions are given to the problems that arise," said the executive of Minth Mexico.

At the end, Esaú Garza de Vega, Secretary of Economic Development, Science and Technology of the State Government, emphasized to Tere Jiménez that around 47 investment projects are currently being evaluated.

During the current administration, investments of US$1.74 billion and the creation of more than 12,000 new jobs have been announced.
