Ram 1500 Rumble Bee Will Attract a New Audience to Pickup Trucks

Ram dealers in the United States are excited about the launch of the Ram 1500 Rumble Bee not only because they believe it is aimed at an audience willing to pay top dollar for a high-performance pickup truck.

They also believe that the unique features of this “Street Truck” will attract new consumers who enjoy sports cars and who normally wouldn’t consider a pickup, according to a report by AutoNews.

Stellantis revealed recently that the 2027 Rumble Bee lineup starts at $62,800 for the 395-horsepower (hp) version, followed by the 392 model with a 470 hp 6.4-liter Hemi engine at $72,800 and the 392 Track Pack at $82,800, while the SRT variant, with 777 hp, starts at $97,800.

As if that weren’t enough, the launch is accompanied by a robust selection of accessories that can easily push the final price into the six-figure range, including a supercharger kit that boosts the SRT version’s power to over 900 hp. That package is priced at $11,000, not including installation costs.

However, according to experts, the vehicle was designed for a market that spares no expense and isn’t concerned with value for money.

“That sport pickup truck market is virtually untapped,” said Sean Hogan, president of the Stellantis dealer council, who noted that the model will attract a new segment of buyers “who wouldn’t normally look for a pickup truck.”

The base version of the Rumble Bee, equipped with the 5.7-liter Hemi V8, will be produced at the Stellantis Saltillo plant and will arrive at dealerships in late 2026, followed by the more powerful versions in the first half of next year.
