Henniges Automotive, a Michigan-based manufacturer of sealing and anti-vibration solutions for the auto industry, plans to build a new manufacturing plant in the municipality of Gomez Palacio, Durango, local media reported.
The announcement comes after state officials conducted a work tour to finalize the details. There is talk of an investment of close to US$ 60 million that will be used for the project.
With the opening of the new plant 600 jobs will be created, which will be added to the workforce of 1,500 people that the company already has in that locality.
