Sedeco supervises construction of Automann’s new plant in SLP

SAN LUIS POTOSI - The Secretary of Economic Development of the State Government (Sedeco) participated in the supervision tour of the construction of the new Automann plant in San Luis Potosi, which contemplates a global investment, including equipment and personnel, of approximately US$100 million and the generation of more than 1,000 jobs for the people of San Luis Potosi.

On behalf of the Governor of San Luis Potosí, Ricardo Gallardo Cardona, the head of Sedeco, Salvador Gonzales Martínez, made a tour with the directors, where they verified the progress of the construction of the plant, and where it was announced that Automann has become one of the largest suppliers of spare parts for trailers and trucks of various brands, which will strengthen the automotive cluster in the state.

Automann was founded in 1994 and offers a wide range of products in six distribution centers in Canada and the United States, such as spare parts for brake systems, steering, polyurethane products, shock absorbers, springs and more, with original equipment (OE) standards and certificates that prove their quality, which is why it has achieved steady growth and global expansion, reflecting the appreciation of customers for its high quality.

As a distribution center, it has more than 40 thousand auto parts and accessories, including Continental, SKF, OTC, Gabriel, Phillips, own brand, among others, and in San Luis Potosí, Automann is planning an investment of 100 million dollars and the generation of one thousand jobs.
