SIDE and Canacintra sign agreement to export MSMEs
CHIHUAHUA – The Directorate of Commerce of the Secretariat of Innovation and Economic Development (SIDE) signed an agreement with the National Chamber of the Transformation Industry (Canacintra) Chihuahua, to provide training to food companies.
Silvia Román Sáenz, director of Trade, reported that this agreement will allow training to strengthen micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), in order to give them access to larger markets, including exports.
She explained that training will be totally free for the personnel of 10 companies in the food sector, in order to comply with the food safety elements.
Safety is one of the main aspects that companies require to export their products, once they comply with the guidelines of the U.S. government agency responsible for regulating food, the Food and Drug Administration.
For his part, the minister of the Board of Directors of Canacintra Chihuahua, Sergio Camacho Gomez, said that the agency focuses on small and medium enterprises, in order to train them to reach the domestic market, as well as the international market.
