MEXICO – The Pacific Airport Group (GAP) and the Tecnológico de Monterrey health system, TecSalud, collaborated to integrate international protocols to mitigate the risk of contagion by COVID-19 within the 12 national terminals GAP manages.
Through joint efforts, GAP will guarantee its users that their measures are reviewed by a health entity specialized in the mitigation of infections. "We want passengers to know of our commitment to their safety and comfort, that is why we work in coordination with TecSalud, a nationally recognized medical entity," said Raúl Revuelta Musalem, director of GAP.
In a first stage, collaboration was carried out to review the processes within the 12 airports. During the first meeting, the measures, conditions and processes and infrastructure of the aerodromes were analyzed.
Subsequently, the second stage will consist of the attendance of representatives of TecSalud to each one of the facilities, where they will observe and give corresponding training to all GAP members.
GAP explained that the protocols they implemented are in accordance with those established by the Federal Civil Aviation Agency (AFAC), Safe Travels, World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) and the Health certification standards (AHA) of the Airports Council International (ACI).
