The integration phase of AtlaCom-1 has successfully concluded

MEXICO – The integration phase of AtlaCom-1, the first Mexican nanosatellite, concluded successfully, so the project advances to the next stage promoted by students from the Polytechnic University of Atlacomulco, as reported by Salvador Landeros Ayala, general director of the Mexican Space Agency (AEM), and Roberto Téllez Monroy, mayor of the municipality of Atlacomulco, State of Mexico.
"With the conclusion of this clean-room integration phase of AtlaCom-1, the first Mexican nanosatellite, we are one step closer to achieving that the talent of the youth of the State of Mexico reaches space," said Landeros Ayala.
"We have received the instruction from the president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, to make history by transforming Atlacomulco, and here it will be a land of nanosatellites, as a new productive vocation, for the benefit of the entity, and the entire country," said Mayor Téllez Monroy.
This project has the participation of the company SPACE JLTZ and the mentor of NASA, Joel Contreras, as well as the company NanoAvionics and intends to generate a nanosatellite that offers data on the climate and the environment to support agriculture in Mexico.
