EnITma celebrates 10 years promoting the digitization of the aviation industry

The technology company enITma celebrates its first decade of operation with a clear focus on the digital transformation of the aeronautical sector in Mexico and Latin America. Against a backdrop of strong growth for global aviation, the firm is positioning itself as a key player for airlines and airports facing operational, sustainability, and efficiency challenges.
According to company data, global air travel will reach 9.8 billion passengers in 2025, approaching the historic milestone of 10 billion. In Latin America and the Caribbean, traffic is projected to reach 789 million passengers for that same year, an increase of 4.1% over the previous year.
Given this scenario, operators in the sector need to integrate technology that responds to demands for volume, safety, operational variability, and new forms of mobility. Founded in 2015, enITma has accompanied the digital evolution of more than 70% of Latin American airlines, with a presence in nine countries and active operations in the United States, Spain, Mexico, and Colombia.
Among its main achievements are the development of more than 120 technological applications aimed at optimizing air, commercial, financial, and maintenance operations; the launch of its SaaS financial system “Invoicing & Settlement System”; and the integration of advanced tools such as artificial intelligence for flight planning and predictive maintenance, as well as blockchain for the traceability of passengers, baggage, and cargo. The company has also been recognized as a “Great Place to Work® Mexico,” highlighting its work culture.
For Enrique Mendoza Arce, CEO of enITma, “in an industry where every minute counts, technology not only transforms processes, but defines the future of aviation.” He affirms that the company's commitment during this decade has been to accompany airlines in their digital evolution, helping them to operate with greater efficiency, safety, and sustainability.
Over the past ten years, enITma has reported sustained double-digit annual growth, with an EBITDA margin of over 50% for nine consecutive years. Its flagship product has processed more than 100 million airline tickets and 120 million reservations annually, equivalent to more than $12 billion in digital transactions. In addition, its expansion into Spain and partnerships with AWS and IBM Cloud consolidate a global and scalable technology offering.
Beyond operational digitization, the company incorporates an environmental commitment: each solution seeks to optimize resources, reduce emissions, and create safer and more sustainable operations. This translates into less paper use at airports, automated processes for passengers and baggage, and greater cargo traceability with a smaller ecological footprint.
In a regional context marked by the expansion of low-cost airlines and the modernization of fleets and airport infrastructure, the presence of specialized technology providers such as enITma represents a competitive advantage. Its model based on high availability and scalability technologies allows Latin American companies to meet the most demanding international standards.
As it celebrates ten years of experience, enITma reaffirms its role as a driver of digital transformation in the aerospace sector in Mexico and Latin America. Its sustained growth, technological adoption, and vision for sustainability consolidate it as a key reference point for the future of regional aviation.
