The Querétaro Aerocluster reported 10% growth in 2025, reflecting the continued expansion of the aerospace industry in Querétaro. The update was shared by the cluster’s president, Jatziri Barrios Porras, who highlighted the sector’s steady development in the region.
According to Barrios Porras, the organization expects the industry to maintain a double-digit growth trend in 2026, particularly as more companies join the aerospace ecosystem in the state.
Currently, the cluster brings together more than 60 member organizations, representing a large share of the aerospace industry operating in Querétaro. The group includes manufacturers, suppliers, research centers and academic institutions that collaborate to strengthen the regional supply chain.
Over the past decade, Querétaro has positioned itself as one of Mexico’s most important aerospace hubs, supported by strong investment in advanced manufacturing, engineering and workforce training.
Industry leaders note that the sector’s growth is driven by continued foreign investment and the expansion of global aerospace companies operating in the region. Several projects launched in recent years have helped strengthen production capacity and generate new high-skilled jobs.
Barrios Porras also emphasized that industries such as aerospace play a key role in regional development by promoting innovation, specialized employment and technological advancement.
With continued investment, talent development and supply chain integration, the aerospace sector in Querétaro is expected to remain one of the most dynamic high-tech industries in Mexico in the coming years.
