Scania Mexico enhances operations by expanding Guadalajara

As part of a strategy to strengthen its operations in the country, Scania Mexico announced the expansion of its facility in Guadalajara: a project aimed at improving its logistics and service capabilities in one of the most dynamic regions for freight transport.
The new facility will have operational capacity for up to 12 workstations and will begin operations with a staff of 11 specialized technical employees; this approach addresses the need for trained personnel and adequate infrastructure to ensure faster response times for maintenance and service.
The project involved a total investment of US$139,000, allocated to infrastructure, equipment, and capitalized rent; with this expansion, Scania seeks to meet the market’s growing demand for more localized and specialized services. The company aims to improve vehicle availability, reduce downtime, and offer timely technical support—critical factors for businesses that rely on freight transport for their daily operations.
Its expansion into Guadalajara is part of Scania Mexico’s efforts to strengthen its operations in the country, in line with the needs of an evolving market.
