DHL Mexico promotes gender equality

In an industry historically dominated by men, such as logistics and transportation, DHL Express Mexico has built a leadership team that is nearly gender-balanced; currently, the company’s Senior Management Team consists of 13 members, six of whom are women, representing 46% of the team—the highest proportion within the organization in the country.

The presence of women in key positions—finance, sales, customer service, legal, procurement, and regional management—reflects a corporate governance model that integrates diversity as a structural element in decision-making.

In Mexico, female representation on boards of directors and C-level teams still faces structural challenges, with participation levels significantly below those of other international markets.

The company has operated in the country since 1976 and has more than 9,000 employees. Of this total, women represent more than 24% of the workforce and hold more than 30% of leadership positions in operational roles.

Currently, the female workforce is present throughout the organization, working as couriers, loaders, advisors, sales and customer service executives, as well as in supervisory, coordination, management, and leadership roles across all areas.
