Safran & Dassault Systèmes: Digitizing industrial maintenance

Safran Landing Systems has successfully transformed its operations by integrating advanced technologies developed by Dassault Systèmes; this development comes at a pivotal moment for the sector in Mexico.
The domestic aerospace industry currently represents a market worth US$11.2 billion and is projected to reach US$22.7 billion by 2029, implying annual growth of nearly 15%.
The company has implemented Dassault Systèmes solutions to digitize critical maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) processes, one of the most complex areas of the sector.
Safran has transferred technical instructions to interactive digital environments, where operators can view 3D models overlaid on physical equipment in real time; this approach has demonstrated a direct impact on quality, productivity, and workplace ergonomics, while reducing operators’ cognitive load and facilitating the execution of critical tasks.
This advancement is particularly significant in markets such as Mexico, where Safran maintains a strong presence within the aerospace ecosystem, contributing to the strengthening of industrial capabilities at a time of expansion for the sector.
