Ford Mexico merges industry and water management

Ford Motor Company strengthened its focus on sustainability and environmental safety by integrating technological solutions into its Health, Safety, and Environment Fair, held at its Irapuato plant.
As part of this strategy, the company invited the Ministry of Water and the Environment to present the Water and Environment Information System (SIAMA), a digital platform that improves water management through data analysis and organization.
Ford’s participation in such initiatives reflects a trend in the automotive industry, where the use of data and technology is becoming essential for optimizing processes and reducing environmental impacts; the integration of digital solutions enables companies to anticipate risks and improve their sustainability performance.
Interaction between the public and private sectors facilitates the implementation of more efficient models for the use of water and other strategic resources. Furthermore, such initiatives position the Ford plant in Irapuato as a leader in promoting safe and sustainable work environments.
