BMW Confirms Arrival Date and Price of the iX3 in Mexico

BMW revealed that the starting price for the iX3 50 xDrive 2027 electric SUV, the first mass-produced model of the Neue Klasse, will be 1,495,000 pesos when it hits the Mexican market next June.

The SUV offers a range of 805 kilometers per charge thanks to an 800-volt electric architecture, which enables fast charging of up to 400 kilowatts at DC charging stations.

The vehicle comes standard with the innovative Panoramic iDrive user experience powered by the BMW Operating System X, along with class-leading driving dynamics derived from the “Heart of Joy” control unit.

The Bavarian automaker added that customers can now configure their ideal iX3 50 xDrive with their preferred dealer or at bmw.com.mx, where they can also select from the models that will be available in the Mexican market in the coming days.

The iX3 uses BMW's sixth-generation eDrive technology, which includes highly efficient electric motors and high-voltage batteries with cylindrical cells offering higher energy density.

This technology reduces energy losses by 40% compared to the previous generation, cuts weight by 10%, and lowers manufacturing costs by 20%.

For the first time for a BMW in the Mexican market, the new BMW iX3 is equipped with a NACS charging connector and will have access to the latest generation of Tesla superchargers.

The BMW iX3 will also be compatible with CCS chargers and includes a Wallbox-type wall charger with a NACS connector.
