Black Hawk Helicopter arrives in the State of Mexico

The State of Mexico’s Secretariat of Security (SSEM) unveiled a new aerial asset in the form of a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter, which is expected to strengthen surveillance, crime prevention, and emergency response efforts within the state.

The new helicopter was unveiled at the Control, Command, Communications, Computing, and Quality Center (C5) in the state capital of Toluca during an event showcasing the modernization of the SSEM’s tactical and technological equipment.

With the addition of the Black Hawk, the state government aims to strengthen the SSEM’s operational capabilities and reduce response times in municipalities where geographical conditions make ground access difficult.

The UH-60, a combat-proven utility helicopter, is robust, reliable, and ready for the toughest mission challenges.

With powerful twin engines, a reconfigurable cabin, and a payload capacity of 9 pounds, this helicopter can transport police personnel, deliver supplies, and carry out search-and-rescue missions, even in conflict zones. This has made the UH-60 a trusted utility helicopter with more than 15 million flight hours and countless critical missions worldwide.
