EKIN, an international leader in the manufacture of high-precision broaching and rolling machines and tools, has recently partnered with companies with the most demanding technological requirements, offering advanced solutions for key sectors such as the automotive, aerospace, and power generation industries.

The Basque firm committed to the aerospace sector more than a decade ago, a strategic decision that has now resulted in a dedicated and highly specialized business unit. This is a particularly demanding sector from a technical standpoint, where precision, reliability, and traceability are non-negotiable.

In this context, R&D has become a cornerstone for the company, which has numerous research projects funded both by the Basque Government, through SPRI, and by the CDTI at the national level.

In the aerospace sector, EKIN will enable the integration of sensors into the broaching machine to assess the wear on each tooth of the broach, thereby preventing catastrophic breakage.
