Companies in the capital of Puebla export US$815 million.

So far this period, companies located in the municipality of Puebla have reported exports totaling US$815 million, representing a 27% increase compared to the previous period, according to the Ministry of Economy and Tourism.

Jaime Oropeza Casas, head of the municipal agency, has stated that, in collaboration with Nafin and Bancomext, training sessions are being provided to business owners to help them understand international markets that could offer export opportunities.

The official emphasized that this Specialized Training Program in Foreign Trade is intended to assist business owners who want to export for the first time or who would like to resume exporting.

As a result, more companies from the region are expected to enter foreign markets, while also strengthening their production capacity through training in foreign trade.

“Our goal is for the municipality to have more and more exporting companies so that we can reach new markets. We want products from Puebla to reach the whole world, and for that to increase the Gross Domestic Product of the city of Puebla,” he emphasized.

The official emphasized that this is the second time they have carried out this Specialized Training Program in Foreign Trade, through which 50 companies have previously received training, and he hopes that this time, they will be able to exceed that goal.

Similarly, the delegate encouraged companies to expand the reach of their products, seek training in foreign trade, strengthen the local economy, and create more opportunities for the city’s businesses. Meanwhile, the executive in charge of promotion in Puebla for Nafin and Bancomext has indicated that the training sessions will be ideal for companies that have no ties to the foreign market. He added that the training will be useful for business owners who are unfamiliar with the basic concepts or certifications.
