“Las Niñas Sí Pueden” Program Explores the Aerospace Industry

As part of the activities of the Las Niñas Sí Pueden program, the participants visited the facilities of Regal Rexnord, where they had the opportunity to get a close-up look at the industrial environment and explore the fields of engineering and technology, as well as learn about the Chihuahua Aerospace Cluster

During the tour, the girls spent time with people who work in these sectors and learned how science, innovation, and technical expertise are applied in industrial processes, with the aim of broadening their perspectives on available career opportunities.

In a post, the program thanked Luis Carlos Ramírez, engineer, plant manager at Regal Rexnord, and his entire team for opening the company's doors and sharing this experience with the participants.

The event also featured Michelle González, member of the Chihuahua Aerospace Cluster, who shared a message about the importance of persevering, overcoming obstacles, and continuing to work toward achieving personal and professional goals.

During her remarks, she emphasized the importance of girls having role models who inspire them to trust in their abilities and to consider pursuing careers in fields such as science, technology, engineering, and aerospace.

The Las Niñas Sí Pueden program seeks to create learning opportunities and expose participants to various professional fields through experiences that allow them to discover new avenues for growth and envision themselves in areas that traditionally had fewer women.

Through these visits, the initiative continues to promote activities designed to inspire new generations to pursue their dreams, build their confidence, and forge their own paths.

The program also thanked the individuals and organizations that are joining this effort to open up opportunities and bring more girls into the worlds of knowledge, innovation, and technology.
