APYMSA Opens a New Distribution Center in Jalisco
APYMSA, Mexican company specializing in the distribution of auto parts and automotive replacement parts, has expanded its logistics infrastructure with a new distribution center in El Salto, Jalisco, in order to strengthen its supply capacity and improve response times for customers in different regions of the country.
The project involves a site of more than 42,000 m², according to information shared about the facility, and is part of the company's expansion strategy to improve its operations in the areas of storage, order fulfillment, and distribution of automotive components.
The new infrastructure will help strengthen the supply chain for auto parts stores, auto repair shops, and companies with vehicle fleets—sectors that require a constant supply of parts to maintain business continuity and reduce maintenance and repair times.
With this expansion, APYMSA hopes to meet the needs of a market where fast delivery, inventory diversity, and efficient logistics processes are key competitive factors.
The company has a sales network of more than 130 branches, supported by distribution and service operations designed to facilitate access to automotive parts.
It is worth noting that APYMSA has implemented warehouse management and order fulfillment technologies at its previous facilities, including inventory management systems and automation tools that help improve operational accuracy.
The location of the new facility in El Salto, one of Jalisco’s main industrial and logistics corridors, is an advantage for connecting with regional and national markets, primarily due to its proximity to the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area and its transportation infrastructure.
The expansion of APYMSA’s network highlights the importance of having specialized logistics infrastructure for the auto parts market, where the timely availability of components is essential to the operations of repair shops, distributors, and fleets.
With this project, the company is strengthening its presence in Jalisco and its national distribution strategy.
