Grupo Lala names Mauricio Leyva as new CEO

The Mexican manufacturer of dairy products, Grupo Lala, has reported that Mauricio Leyva has been appointed as the company´s new CEO. Leyva was a former executive at the brewing company Anheuser-Busch InBev.

Leyva will assume his post as CEO in September of 2018, replacing Scot Rank, who joined the company in January 2015 after working for Walmart Mexico.

In a statement, Eduardo Tricio, president of the company, said that the changes confirm the confidence they have in the beginning of a new stage, which will allow them to capitalize the investments made in recent years, resume growth and reactivate profitability.
