MEXICO CITY — The Mexican Space Agency (AEM) congratulated the young Mexican student Jonathan Sánchez Pérez, who has just returned from Russia, where he carried out courses on satellites and microsatellites.
Dr. Javier Mendieta Jiménez, general director of the AEM, congratulated the student from Tultitlán, State of Mexico, who has also obtained recognition from the National and Space Administration (NASA).
“The impulse to the formation and talent of Mexican youth has already given concrete results in the case of the student Jonathan Sánchez Pérez,” said Mendieta Jiménez.
This is the second time that Jonathan goes to Russia to study space education programs, in addition to participating in the International Air and Space Program (IASP) organized by the company AEXA at NASA facilities.
For his part, Carlos Duarte Muñoz, general coordinator of human capital formation of the AEM, stated that thanks to the talent of Mexican youth, the country is beginning to develop a national space industry.
