Mexican airline Aeromar reduces its aircraft capacity by 50%

MEXICO — In response to the health emergency caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Aeromar reduced the capacity of its aircraft by 50%, so that its passengers can travel at a distance from each other, preventing contagions; the Mexican airline assured as well that there will be no changes in the continuity of flights.
Passengers traveling alone will be assigned a place one meter away from other passengers; for those who travel accompanied, the consecutive front and rear seats will be left free; while when traveling in a group, one front and one rear row will be left free.
"For Aeromar, the well-being of both our passengers and crew is essential, so before, during and after each flight, we strictly adhere to international public health protocols to avoid the risk of contagion and have reinforced internal control actions to ensure the effectiveness of containment measures, "the airline said in a statement.
