Aeromexico-Delta partnership to launch direct flight from Detroit to San Luis Potosi

Aeromexico and its joint cooperation agreement alliance partner Delta Air Lines announced that, starting May 1, 2019, they will launch a new route between Detroit and San Luis Potosi a key market for the automotive industry.
Flight AM2741 will take travelers from Detroit to San Luis Potosi on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The flight is scheduled to depart Detroit at 3:45pm and arrive in San Luis Potosi at 7:13pm. All times local.
Flight AM2740 will take travelers from San Luis Potosi to Detroit on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The flight is scheduled to leave San Luis Potosi at 9:21am and arrive in Detroit at 2:20pm. All times local.
San Luis Potosi is ranked as number 2 among the states with the highest economic growth in Mexico, with its 5.9% upward trend, according to the Quarterly Indicator of State Economic Activity.
Beyond its importance as an engine of the automotive industry, Detroit has become a major hub for technology companies, which interestingly combine with the strength that the fashion, art and food industries are taking on in this city.
The airlines currently serve the Detroit market with non-stop flights from Bajio (Leon), Mexico City, Monterrey, and Queretaro, focused primarily on creating air bridges between highly industrial and dynamic destinations, to facilitate economic trade, and promote the development of business in Mexico.
