ARZYZ Metals expands in Nuevo Leon
NUEVO LEON - The Governor of Nuevo León, Samuel García Sepúlveda, announced the investment of US$650 million by the regional company ARZYZ Metals, which will generate 1,300 new jobs in the region.
The company's CEO, Mario Sergio Ramírez-Zablah Limón, emphasized that the project is not only committed to the company's expansion, but also to the growth of its people.
“This park we are going to build has a technical school for our people, a nursery for our people, a research and development center to improve our people, so much of our focus is on investing in machines and people,” he said.
ARZYZ is a key player in the aluminum industry in Nuevo León, standing out for its focus on sustainability, innovation and quality in the production of recycled aluminum and alloys.
With a strong presence in the Mexican and international market, ARZYZ is one of the most important aluminum companies in Latin America, positioning itself as a pioneer in aluminum distribution for almost 25 years.
It specializes in the manufacture of high-quality recycled aluminum (secondary aluminum), contributing to the circular economy and sustainability; offers a variety of aluminum alloys customized to the specific needs of its customers; and has an advanced infrastructure for recycling aluminum and other non-ferrous metals.
It has an installed capacity of 240 thousand metric tons per year in its two plants (Apodaca and Ciénega de Flores), generating more than 1,500 direct and indirect jobs. It has operations in Mexico, the United States, Canada, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
The meeting was attended by Mario Sergio Ramírez Zablah Zimery, CEO of ARZYZ Metals; Rafael Santos Flores, Manufacturing Director of ARZYZ Metals and Iván Torres García, Director of Institutional Relations of ARZYZ Metals.
