Aviation training will feature a high-tech simulator

Mexico’s aviation sector is seeking to update its protocols through ongoing aviation training for its workforce at specialized technical training centers.
Aeropuertos y Servicios Auxiliares (ASA) and the Airbus Mexico Training Center have signed a collaboration agreement to strengthen the sector’s educational infrastructure.
The agreement involves the addition of an A320 Cabin Door Trainer to the ASA International Training Center (CIIASA). This equipment is specifically designed to allow aspiring flight attendants to practice opening and closing cabin doors under conditions that replicate actual aircraft operations.
The aviation training provided at CIIASA will enable students to simulate realistic emergency scenarios, thereby reducing the margin for error during commercial operations. For his part, Michel-Pierre Petit, a representative of Airbus Mexico, emphasized that institutional cooperation is essential for training highly specialized professionals.
