Pennsylvania-based Brentwood Industries, Inc., a thermoformed and injection molded solutions supplier specialized in the medical sector, announced that its new plant located in Tijuana, Baja California has earned the ISO 9001:2015 certification just a few months after it started operations.

This certification validates that Brentwood's Tijuana facility abides by the Quality Management System guidelines set in place by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

The Tijuana facility is the fourth Brentwood site to achieve ISO 9001:2015 certification, illustrating Brentwood's commitment to meeting and exceeding customer needs and expectations.

"Our customers demand precision and reliability," says Mario Aguiar, Tijuana Plant Manager, "so it's important for us to maintain high quality standards and serve as a partner that medical OEMs can count on."

Brentwood announced its expansion to Mexico last fall with the intent of serving medical device packaging customers in Central America and the western United States.

This approach aligns with Brentwood's corporate expansion model of delivering value to current and potential customers in their local geographies.

The Tijuana site also provides a critical capability for the company: operational redundancy. With production now underway, Brentwood said it is confident that the new ISO Class 7 clean room environment, along with the ISO 9001:2015 certification, will continue to offer medical OEMs the security and flexibility required for critical projects.
