Chihuahua to host international cluster conference

CHIHUAHUA - For the first time, the city of Chihuahua will host the TCI 2024 Global Conference, an international platform to promote the generation of wealth and competitiveness in the region and discuss global trends on clusters and innovation ecosystems.

The conference will be held October 8-10 at the Expo Chihuahua Exhibition and Convention Center.

The Ministry of Innovation and Economic Development (SIDE) announced that as part of the 27th edition of the event, the conference will be held under the theme “The collaborative future: AI and human progress through clusters", and will address topics such as the impact of artificial intelligence, disruptive technologies in clusters, the evolution of policies and collaboration in the future.

This international gathering brings together more than 300 cluster professionals from around the world, including international experts, strategic sector corporations, researchers, academics, and representatives from multilateral organizations.

Attendees will be able to discuss global trends on clusters and innovation ecosystems, exchange collaborative experiences and participate in the conversation.

The event will feature top-level conferences with the participation of economist Mariana Mazzucato; investor Rebecca Hwang, as well as entrepreneurs, academics, businessmen and economists from countries such as Denmark, Brazil, Iceland, Spain, Canada, Germany, Sweden, Taiwan, among others.

Likewise, guided visits will be offered in groups divided into three themes: intelligent agribusiness, advanced manufacturing and enabling technologies, which will include tours of companies such as Bafar, CBQ Technologies, Grupo Rosa, Bell, Ford, as well as the facilities of the High Technology Training Center (Cenaltec), among others.
