FCA unveils limited-edition Mojave Sand package for the 2018 Ram Power Wagon
As production of Ram Heavy Duty trucks nears to an end in Saltillo, Coahuila, in order to be allocated in Warren, Michigan where the next-generation of the pickup will be built, FCA North America announced the launch of the new 2018 limited-edition Ram Power Wagon Mojave Sand package, featuring a color available for the first time for the 2500 series.
To accompany the new color, new all-black wheels create a complete exterior design element paired with 33-inch Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires.
The limited-edition truck features an all-black interior with Ram’s Uconnect 8.4-inch touchscreen. Also part of the package, the Power Wagon Mojave Sand adds the Heavy Duty Luxury Group, which includes LED bed lighting, overhead console power heated/fold-away mirrors and a universal garage door opener.
Under the hood is 6.4-liter Hemi V8 and its 410 horsepower. It includes a suspension kit of more than two inches of lift, giving the truck a total of 14.3 inches of ground clearance. As well as an electrically disconnecting front sway bar, there are locking differentials front and rear and a 12,000-pound winch.
The Ram Power Wagon Mojave Sand limited edition is available in Crew Cab 4×4 at a starting manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of US$ 54,830, plus US$ 1,695 destination, and will arrive in dealerships in the fourth quarter of 2018. Production is limited to 1,500 trucks.
