Cooper Standard invests US$15 million in Aguascalientes

AGUASCALIENTES In an official event, the governor of the state of Aguascalientes, Martín Orozco Sandoval, celebrated the investment and expansion of the Cooper Standard plant located in the San Francisco Industrial Park.

The Michigan-based manufacturer allocated US$15 million for its expansion in the south of the city of Aguascalientes; said investment will increase its 1,350 workforce but the company did not specify yet how many job positions would be generated.

The company is a leading U.S supplier in the automotive industry which manufactures seals and rubber packing for vehicles of brands such as Nissan, Ford, FCA, GM and Volkswagen.

It must be noted that Cooper Standard has recognitions in the field of sustainable social projects, promoting public spaces for community development. Among the products that this plant exports to 21 countries in the world, are fuel lines and brakes as well as fluid transfer hoses.
