Joseph Saoud to oversee Bridgestone Latin America Tire Operations

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. recently announced that Joseph Saoud, former president of Truck, Bus and Renewed Radial Tires of Bridgestone in the United States and Canada, has been named president for Tire Operations at Bridgestone Latin America.

In his new position, Saoud will oversee Bridgestone's business in the region, including its subsidiaries in Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Costa Rica, reporting directly to Gordon Knapp, president and CEO of Bridgestone Americas.

"Latin America is a dynamic region and it represents a very important market for our activities in the world. In addition to a global perspective and first-hand experience in the region, Joseph has a multicultural background and is familiar with management operations," Knapp said.
