Mario Enríquez assumes the presidency of the Chihuahua Aerospace Cluster

CHIHUAHUA - Mario Enriquez assumed the presidency of the Chihuahua Aerospace Cluster in an event where he stressed the importance of strengthening collaboration between companies, government and educational institutions to consolidate the sector in the state.
During the ceremony, Ulises Fernández Gamboa, head of Chihuahua's Ministry of Innovation and Economic Development, highlighted that Chihuahua has close to 20,000 jobs in the aerospace industry, representing a third of the national total. He also recognized the work of Luis Manuel Azúa, outgoing president, in the consolidation of the cluster.
Fernandez highlighted the importance of strengthening alliances between the different actors of this ecosystem, which translates into benefits for the development of the key industry for the competitiveness and economic growth of the entity.
“This leadership of Chihuahua has not been achieved from a single front, it is the result of a consolidated Aerospace Cluster and the synergy generated between the Government and those who have demonstrated a continuous commitment to the growth of the state,” reiterated the secretary.
Enriquez said that his administration will focus on industrial promotion, optimization of the supply chain, promotion of local companies and specialized training. With these strategies, the sector seeks to maintain Chihuahua as a reference in the aerospace industry in Mexico.
“Throughout my term, we will promote initiatives that foster collaboration between companies, governments and educational institutions, creating a robust and dynamic ecosystem,” said Enriquez.
