Internacional de Tecnologías Médicas (ITM), a family-owned company focused in manufacturing, refurbishing and distribution of medical devices, in recent days broke ground to build a new plant at the Chihuahua Sur industrial park in Chihuahua, state capital.
ITM plans to invest US$ 6 million and open 180 specialized job positions in a 5-year term. The Chihuahua-based will provide design, manufacturing, assembly and maintenance services – both preventive and corrective – for medical equipment suppliers, especially manufacturers of anesthesia dispensers, ventilators and patient monitors.
The ceremony was attended by state government officials as well as executives from Japanese medical equipment manufacturer Nihon Kohden, which will rely on ITM services for its operations in Mexico.
