Queretaro strengthens ties with Sweden
QUERETARO – The governor of the state, Mauricio Kuri González, and the Ambassador of Sweden in Mexico, His Excellency Gunnar Aldén, signed a Memorandum of Understanding, with the aim of strengthening ties between Queretaro and the European country.
This will be carried out through the exchange of experiences and promoting activities on issues that are part of the common agenda.
In addition, during this meeting the authorities agreed on the interest in policies that promote sustainable development, such as mobility, sustainable economic models, and cultural exchange.
It is worth noting that In 2017, the multinational Sandvik Coromant chose Queretaro to establish a high-tech center in which it invested US$3.6 million. This company offers optimized products and solutions based on digitalization, innovation and sustainable engineering.
Similarly, Autoliv Steering Wheels Mexico is another Swedish company located in the El Marques Industrial Park, which develops, manufactures and markets airbags, seat belts and steering wheels for different automakers around the world.
