Solar International Core Canada to invest in Mexico

Solar International Core Canada, in partnership with the government of Hidalgo, announced the upcoming construction of a plant for active pharmaceutical ingredients in Toronto; this project will involve an investment of US$2 billion.
The company stated that it will allocate US$70 million toward the purchase of a property in the Zapotlan Economic Development Hub in Hidalgo.
As part of the mission, a series of letters of intent were also signed, through which Canadian companies committed to analyzing potential investments in the country:
INTE Modular seeks to explore the development of a modular housing plant in Chiapas, with a potential investment of up to US$360 million. ProcessResearch Ortech Inc. will invest in the development of a mineral and battery materials processing plant in Puebla, with a potential investment of US$380 million.
Finally, the government of Jalisco and Sustainable Agave Holdings Ltd. will develop an agave processing plant for pulp production, with a potential investment of US$100 million.
