++gramosa++ Gramosa will start operations at Puerto Chiapas next October

Chiapas, Mexico.- With an investment amounting to MXP$75 million in the first stage, Gramosa Agroalimentos will inaugurate next October a new terminal for bulk agriculture products in Puerto Chiapas, with capacity for 24,000 tons in silos and 6,000 tons in the warehouse, Yahir Montes, Commercial Director, informed.
The idea is corn coastal transportation from northern Mexico to the south; while another purpose is developing agriculture under agreements in Chiapas, which after Sinaloa is the second corn producer in Mexico.
Gramosa Agroalimentos wants to take advantage of production in Chiapas to export corn to Central and South America, since exports are currently made mainly from Sinaloa.
We want to encourage production to develop agriculture in the zone and make processes more technical.
Gramosa Alimentos is a company in the agribusiness sector devoted to selling raw materials and semi-processed food in Mexico and in several countries in Central and South America; it is a subsidiary of Gramosa Group, which gathers companies such as Ferroservicios and Nutri Sow.
