700 employees for the BMW plant in training

BMW will give training to 700 Mexican employees by late 2017, out of a total of 1,500 staff members needed to work at the new plant in San Luis Potosi (SLP). US$22 million will be invested to support the education of staff in Mexico and representatives of the firm will visit other plants of the group to become acquainted with processes. The factory in SLP will be ready in 2019, it will have a capacity for annual production of 150,000 cars, with a US$1 billion investment. In addition, a permanent training center in Mexico will be inaugurated next November with investment worth US$4.3 million.
