Manuel Dávila, new CEO of Volkswagen Financial Services Mexico

MEXICO - Volkswagen Financial Services Mexico (VWFS), the financial arm of Volkswagen Group, announced that as part of its global business strategy, it will make changes in the management of the finance company in the country.

David Rands, General Director and CEO of Volkswagen Financial Mexico from March 2021 to December 2023, will undertake a new professional challenge at the end of his time at VWFS.

David demonstrated great leadership and industry knowledge during his time in Mexico, with a track record of more than 25 years in the financial and commercial sector, of which more than 20 have been part of the Volkswagen Group in the United States and Canada.

The new General Manager and CEO of Volkswagen Financial Services in Mexico will be Mexican Manuel Dávila, who until December 2023 served as CEO of the finance company in Ireland, a position he has held since March 2021.

With more than 25 years of experience in the automotive and financial sector, Manuel Dávila has had a successful professional career in the finance company, both in Mexico and Germany, where he promoted different initiatives that had an impact on markets globally. Since 2021, he has served as CEO in Ireland and was previously CEO of Volkswagen Financial Services in Mexico from 2017 to 2021.

Mexico is part of the North America Region and in recent years has worked on the evolution of its digitalization strategy to facilitate access to financing solutions to different sectors of the country's population.
