Nien Made Norman announces investment in Guanajuato
GUANAJUATO - The Taiwanese company, Nien Made Norman, dedicated to the manufacture of curtains and blinds, announced an investment of US$29.9 million in the city of León, Guanajuato.
The announcement was confirmed by the governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, during his recent business tour of Asia.
Currently, the state governor continues his tour of Asia in which a series of new investments have been announced. At the beginning of his administration, he set the goal of reaching an investment of US$5 billion.
By the end of his fourth year in office, this figure had already been surpassed, and he is currently seeking to reach US$8 billion in investments.
The expansion of Nien Made Norman will generate approximately 3,000 jobs in Guanajuato. The city of León will be the epicenter of the operation, where the company plans to produce, manufacture and market high-quality blinds and curtains.
Nien Made Norman, which specializes in the production, manufacture and marketing of a wide range of window covering products, ratified its commitment to Mexico by announcing this investment.
In addition, Nien Made Norman's investment represents a vote of confidence in the Mexican economy and reinforces Guanajuato's position as an attractive destination for foreign investment.
