Ford Adjusts Prices of Models Made in Mexico

Ford will increase the prices for the US market of vehicles imported from Mexico due to the tariffs implemented by President Donald J. Trump at the beginning of April. The adjustment will be up to US$2,000 for some models, Reuters revealed, citing as a source a notice that the blue oval brand sent to its distributors.
Ford revealed just a few days ago that taxes on automotive imports will mean a financial impact of 2.5 billion dollars (mdd) in its costs in 2025, so it will have to revise its results projections.
A spokesperson told Reuters that the increase will be reflected in all Mustang Mach-E, Maverick and Bronco Sport vehicles produced after May 2, which will begin to arrive at dealerships at the end of June, but clarified that “not all of the cost of the tariffs was charged to consumers”.
