Mitsubishi Motors Expands Spare Parts Warehouse in Mexico with DHL

Mitsubishi Motors announced the expansion of its spare parts warehouse in Mexico in partnership with DHL Supply Chain, increasing the facility’s size from 3,800 m² to 6,000 m² at the company’s logistics macrocenter in the State of Mexico. The project aims to strengthen the automaker’s aftersales operations and improve parts availability across the country.

The expansion will allow the company to increase inventory capacity and ensure faster access to key components such as headlights, bumpers, windshields, rims, and body panels. These parts support maintenance services, repairs, and new vehicle launches in the Mexican market.

Through this logistics hub, the Japanese automaker supplies nearly 70 dealerships and sales points nationwide. The improved infrastructure is expected to reduce backorders and accelerate delivery times, reinforcing the efficiency of the company’s supply chain.

Currently, spare parts can reach distributors across Mexico in an average of 3.5 days, while deliveries in Mexico City and nearby metropolitan areas can be completed in less than 24 hours. The warehouse processes around 1,500 order lines per day, reflecting the growing scale of the company’s operations.
