Saint-Gobain to invest US$850 million in Nuevo Leon

The French multinational company Saint-Gobain announced an investment of US$850 million to strengthen its operations in Nuevo Leon, specifically in the municipalities of Apodaca and Santa Catarina.

This investment is part of the first phase of industrial expansion the company plans in the state; this initiative represents a boost for Nuevo Leon’s industrial sector by strengthening production capacity in two of the state’s most important industrial corridors.

With over 360 years of history, Saint-Gobain has established itself as one of the world’s leading industrial groups and a global leader in lightweight and sustainable construction. In Mexico, the company operates through various business units, industrial plants, and distribution centers strategically located throughout the country.

This project aligns with the state’s strategy to attract foreign capital and establish the state as an industrial hub for international companies. The influx of new investments contributes to strengthening the productive infrastructure and consolidating industrial supply chains linked to construction and manufacturing.
