PILA Industrial Park, to its second phase

Jalisco Governor Pablo Lemus Navarro presided over the inauguration of Phase 2 of the La Laja Industrial Park (PILA): an industrial expansion project aimed at strengthening the region’s production and export capacity and establishing Zapotlanejo as a hub for new investment.
The new phase is part of a comprehensive development plan that includes three implementation phases and involves land acquisition, site development, construction of specialized infrastructure, and new industrial buildings. Once fully completed, the complex will feature 24 industrial buildings, more than 47,000 square meters of covered space, and an energy capacity of 3.3 MVA to meet the demand of companies operating in the area.
The expansion is linked to the growth of Grupo SESAJAL, a Jalisco-based agro-industrial company that, upon completion of the project, will have invested a cumulative total of US$69 million in the complex. For this new phase alone, the company anticipates an investment exceeding US$23 million.
Projects of this kind help strengthen the state’s export capacity and create favorable conditions for the arrival of new companies; the state has consolidated its strengths in strategic sectors such as agroindustry and technology, activities that drive job creation and regional competitiveness.
