Bosch expands its plant in Nuevo Leon

Bosch Home Comfort has inaugurated a new plant in Nuevo Leon. The company is reshaping the state's household appliance landscape, creating new opportunities for Mexican suppliers. Alexander Firsching, president of Bosch Mexico, sees the entity's industrial ecosystem as a platform to expand its presence in the state and strengthen its supply chain.

With two decades of presence in the state, Bosch opens a new production capacity that reinforces its participation in the sector, aiming for greater integration. Bosch's presence in the ecosystem aims to expand institutional relationships. The company identified an opportunity with Mexican companies that haven’t entered the supply chain and don´t have the capacity to meet global factory needs.

Bosch founded a mature industry in Nuevo Leon. Firsching reflects on this region´s high capacities, even though they are evident in other productive sectors in the country. Supplier development can deepen the supply chain while also creating space for new national enterprises. At the same time, Nuevo Leon provides a competitive environment that Bosch finds conducive to growing its household appliances.

Meanwhile, due to new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, connectivity, and data usage, household appliance manufacturing has evolved.

For Bosch, strengthening operations and the supply chain in Mexico drives growth through integration with the North American supply chain.

The arrival of Bosch Home Comfort in Cienega de Flores goes beyond any industrial expansion: creating a base for integration into the local supply chain and a higher level of competitiveness in national manufacturing in the global economy.
