Aguascalientes could have an aeronautic cluster

The President of the aerospace cluster in Guanajuato, Felipe Briones, met with Alberto Aldape, head of the Ministry of Economic Development in Aguascalientes, to discuss the possibility to establish a component manufacturing and aircraft assembly plant in the State. This project will be developed over a period of five years with a US$35 million investment. A plant to manufacture private use airplanes will be built during the first stage. The Aeronautic College, which is to work as a certification unit, and a maintenance center, would be created in the second and third stages.
